UE Global's Comp & Design Rates

LAYOUT & DESIGN - $85.00 per hour

We charge a flat rate of $85.00 per hour for all computer time consisting of typesetting, layout, web design and graphic design services and we work in 15 minute increments, with a minimum charge of $50.00.....


If you prefer that UE Global only design a item for you to be printed elsewhere we expect some up front ideas and verbiage to come from the client in an electronic format so we can begin to prepare some designs for you.  If you have specific pictures or artwork (logos) that need to be incorporated into the design, we would first need those items for the design process to begin.  Having us design your project should save you time and money in the end, and help you get straight to the end product of producing your printed material quicker than alternative methods.

* Please note that "Design Rate" charges are non-refundable, should you choose not to accept a design that we develop.  Everyone imagines how products should look and should you decide to take your design project elsewhere and submit that art after we have already designed some layouts for you, that is your choice.  Once we fully understand what you want us to do, and you have given us all the information we need to begin designing your creation, we will give you an estimate on how long, in terms of hours, it will take to finish your project. 



SCANNING

Included in the price of most of our prices is a basic scanning charge.  If you should need us to scan additional amounts of artwork and/or photos for your print projects, we will gladly provide that service for you.   You will be infomed of the costs once we are able to see all the items that you will need added to your project.




UE Global's General Proofing Guidelines


PROOFS

There is no charge for proofs to be sent to you either electronically via email, viewing on our website or by printout at our store.  If you prefer an printout, please be advised that this will only be a close representation of your job and may or may not represent the actual stock and /or exact colors. 


DESIGN PROOFING AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

If UE Global is hired to do work for you, it is your complete responsibility to make sure the design is done as you desire, before approving the final proof used to set a job into print production.  Once a client approves their proof, that relieves UE Global from any and all responsibility for any aspect of the design such as: mis-spellings (Typos), column spacing, etc. 

It is ultimately your responsibility to proofread and check that all design elements are done to your satisfaction, before approving any type of proof that finally releases an order into FINAL PRINT PRODUCTION.  If you find an error in the order after approving the proof, but before the order goes onto a printing press for completion, the costs to make the change will vary depending on the nature of the change, and how far along into production the job has gone.  Once UE Global makes that cost assessment, you will be notified of the costs involved to fix the errors, and it will ultimately be your responsibility to contact UE Global as to what action UE Global is to take regarding this matter.   Finding mistakes after a proof has been accepted and a print order is received is not grounds for you to request a reprint or a refund.  However, if this does occur, and a client requires a job to be reprinted, UE Global may at their own discretion, reduce the rerun or new order price.
